Relief Efforts - How Can You Help with Haiti? Having received questions as to what the “church” is doing in regards to the horrible tragedy in Haiti, in addition to prayer might I suggest the following links for updated reports and how you can assist with the on-going relief efforts: CNN Link EFCA Touchglobal World Vision What’s with all the Dirt? Anyone passing by the church on either East Chestnut or East Elm has probably noticed by now the addition of some orange webbed fencing and lots of work ongoing as the footings and foundational walls are poured. Dave Ramsey’s FPU Financial Peace University is meeting on Sundays at 6 pm. This 13 week class will get you headed in the right direction to being debt free. The FPU course is led by Jeff Bash and Tom Sandman. The cost of the material is $100 (per family) which includes a lifetime membership if you would like to try the class again later. Nursery is available.  Annual Business Meeting Sunday January 31st is our annual business meeting. Adult Connections Classes We have classes at 8AM, 9AM and 10:30AM, so take some time to check out the curriculum and see where God might be leading you. If you need directions or to speak with someone about the schedule or what classes might be best for your need, stop by the Fireside Room / Welcome Center, just off the foyer. Also, be watching for the new class schedule to be posted soon for classes beginning in January. New this year will be some shorter classes with only a 4 week commitment required. Choir and Easter Cantata The choir began work on this year’s Easter Cantata “A.D.” and we’re always seeking new voices. One of the comments heard this year was regarding the diversity in ages in our choir, so young or young at heart, consider joining us in this ministry. Join us at 5PM Sunday evenings in the sanctuary. We’re praying that God would continue to grow us and to use this ministry to change lives and we’d love to have you join us and allow God to use your talents for His glory. Orchestra Update The orchestra meets each Wednesday at 5:30PM and are always seeking new talent, so brush the dust off those instruments and join Roger Howerter as he gets you back into playing shape. Looking for ages from High School on up, so come join us. Youth Ministries Junior High and High School youth groups meet on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the church. For times and locations, check with Brandon at 647-3791. Encounter is the High School youth group and the name of their new web site (see link above). This site will give those new to our youth group a chance to learn more about us, and also provide a way to keep up on activities, check out pictures, and get some challenges and encouragement from God’s word. Beginning Sunday,June 7th, Worship Service times have moved to 9AM and 10:30AM.

Sunday evening service 6PM.


Adult Connection classes will be held at 8AM, 9AM and 10:30AM (check class schedule).


Children’s Sunday School (ages 2 through High School) will be at 10:30AM, with Wee Church (thru Kindergarden) at 9AM. Children’s Church is not available during the summer months but will resume in the fall at 9AM.


Nursery will be available during both Worship Services but NOT at 8AM.
