Songs of Praise in Open Air Sanctuary - 8-8-10 With the last of the concrete poured, Sunday August 8th was a time for celebration as we followed the service with a time of singing praise to God and prayer in our new “open air” sanctuary. Brandon, Jim Trone and Jerry Leander had spent the day Saturday laying out the rooms so that we could wander through the new building and get a feel for what’s yet to come. Framing will begin soon, so keep your eyes on the job board to see how you might be involved. Many thanks to all who have lent a hand and given up many a day to get us where we are so far. Here’s a few pics of today’s special service: So, what’s the motivation behind the addition? For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20) Adult Connections Classes We have classes at 8AM, 9AM and 10:30AM, so take some time to check out the curriculum and see where God might be leading you. If you need directions or to speak with someone about the schedule or what classes might be best for your need, stop by the Fireside Room / Welcome Center, just off the foyer. Also, be watching for the new class schedule to be posted soon for classes beginning this fall. Welcome Center New to the church or community? The Outreach Ministry would like to invite you to stop by the Welcome Center, located in the Fireside Room, which is next to the west exit doors of the foyer (look for the new sign!). Join us for a cup of coffee and fellowship either before or after either service. Here you can also find information about the church’s various ministries and classes available, along with someone who can guide you to your class. Stop by...we’d love to meet you. Choir and Orchestra Update The choir and orchestra both will be starting again soon (watch the bulletin for updates), as Jeanine has selected this year’s Cantata. The choir typically meets on Sunday evenings at 5PM and the orchestra meet each Wednesday at 5:30PM and both are always seeking new talent, so loosen up those vocal chords and brush the dust off those instruments and join Jeanine Gaumer (chorus) and Roger Howerter (orchestra) as they gets you back into shape. Looking for ages from High School on up, so come join us. Youth Ministries Encounter is the High School youth group and the name of their new web site. This site will give those new to our youth group a chance to learn more about us, and also provide a way to keep up on activities. Check it out! Sunday Service Times

Beginning Sunday,June 7th, Worship Service times have moved to 9AM and 10:30AM.

Sunday evening service 6PM.


Adult Connection classes will be held at 8AM, 9AM and 10:30AM (check class schedule).


Children’s Sunday School (ages 2 through High School) will be at 10:30AM, with Wee Church (thru Kindergarden) at 9AM. Children’s Church is not available during the summer months but will resume in the fall at 9AM.


Nursery will be available during both Worship Services but NOT at 8AM.
