The answer is, yes.  In fact, the bible starts off with this truth in its very first verse.  In Genesis 1:1 it says,”In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth.”  This is very important.  The Bible starts off showing us that there is a God and that he is the Creator of all things.  That means he owns everything and defines how things are going to operate.  The bible gives no support or proof. It simply declares that God is...whether you like it or not ( the bible can be in your face like that).  The Bible claims to be the truth and says that there is a God. I think the most important question is; are you not going to look any further?  Will you believe or reject the word of God?  Will you stop at verse one of the bible and not ask what is this God like?  To be honest, those who read verse one of the bible and say they don’t believe it simply don’t want the truth.  If you are unwilling to even look at what the bible says, then it is evident that this is not a facts issue but a heart issue.  What about evolution?  What about science?  What about this and what about that you say?  There are many things that point to the existence of God, but I’m not going to get into those things right now.  To those who are wrestling with this issue I say: Why not for once forget what men are saying and look into what God has said.
